Marble Granite World recently partnered with Building Dimensions Inc. to deliver a stunning new build kitchen project in Guilford County. The installation beautifully integrates premium surfaces, featuring a combination of Cashmere Taj Quartz and Victoria Quartzite. Designed for both exceptional durability and timeless elegance, the countertops serve as the ultimate focal point for this modern residential space.

Every detail of the project was carefully curated to maximize both functionality and style, including the integration of an elegant apron sink. The fabrication team applied a clean, eased edge profile across both the central island and the surrounding perimeter countertops, ensuring a cohesive and sophisticated aesthetic. Through expert craftsmanship and the use of high-quality materials, Marble Granite World successfully created a refined, enduring kitchen environment that perfectly complements the home's architecture.

Is quartz a natural or man-made material?

Quartz countertops are an engineered stone, made from about 90–95% ground natural quartz combined with resins, polymers, and pigments. This process creates a nonporous surface that’s stronger and more consistent in color than natural stones, offering both durability and design flexibility.

Are quartz countertops heat resistant?

Quartz is resistant to moderate heat, but it’s not heatproof. While a warm mug or plate won’t harm the surface, direct contact with very hot cookware can cause discoloration or cracking. To keep your counters looking their best, always use trivets or hot pads under pots and pans.

Do quartz countertops need to be sealed?
