There’s nothing wrong with countertops made of laminate. While that’s not one of our favorite materials at Marble Granite World, we know that it’s a solid, economical option. What’s not doable is having laminate that’s warped, peeling, or falling apart. Having a low-quality countertop isn’t going to do you any favors on the seller’s market.
The same can be said for natural stone. Even though natural stone countertops are highly coveted, if they aren’t in good condition they could bring down the resale value of a home simply because buyers know they will have to put the work in.
