Precise Countertop Templating Services
A certified Template Technician will soon visit your job site. At this visit, the Technician will confirm certain details of your project and take precise measurements to create a digital template of the area. If any adjustments to the original project estimate are required, Marble Granite World will revise the estimate and submit a final estimate to you for approval.
In order for your project to go smoothly, we ask that you prepare for your Template Appointment by following the steps below.
PLEASE NOTE: If our Template Technician arrives on site and is unable to complete the appointment due to any of the steps below not being complete, you will incur a trip fee for us to return at a later date. This trip fee will be reflected on your final Sale Order.
PAY DEPOSIT
We accept cash or check. Make checks out to Marble Granite World.

CABINETS
Before your Template Appointment, make sure cabinets are plumb, level, square and secured to the walls and/or floor. If new cabinets are involved, they must be installed before countertops can be measured and installed. Countertop cabinets (appliance garage, etc.) must be installed AFTER the new countertop is installed.
SINKS/FAUCETS
Make sure sinks and faucets are on the job site (unless you ordered them from MGW). All cutout information (that is, information on holes or cuts required in the countertop for things such as sinks, faucets, soap pumps, hot/cold water dispensers, cooktops, in-counter electrical outlets) must be supplied for measurement and templating.
Apron and farmhouse sinks must be installed prior to the date of field template.
APPLIANCES
Cooktop, range, stove need to be on site. Otherwise, please provide our Templating Technician with the exact model number. Make sure all appliances (including dishwashers, stoves and refrigerators) are in place.
All appliances next to a countertop must be installed. Supports and end panels must be in place at time of templating. If you have a dishwasher that is not located between two cabinets, you will need a support on the open end.
COMMUNICATION
There must be an authorized person on-site (at least 18 years of age) to answer questions and provide sign-offs.
SAFETY
Keep children and pets away from the construction area.
Make sure the job site is safe and accessible for our Template Technician.
